“ Dinner, drinks and fireworks on the beach! Doesnt get any better than that! They even have live music on the deck. Youre sitting outside right on the beach at this place. I had the grilled shrimp tacos and my husband had the fried shrimp plate. Both were good. The kids are welcome here too. ”

“ We went to Claytons Beach Bar for drinks. I did not rate the food, because we didnt eat here. It is the largest beach bar on the coast of Texas on the Gulf of Mexico. The water here is beautiful. It also features a 1,000 foot fishing pier. You can lounge in the sun and enjoy their Turbo Pina Coladas or margaritas. You do have to go to the bar to get your drinks. They are open from 1100 am every day and close at midnight, so you can literally be here from sun up to sundown. They also feature live music and they have fireworks June 1st through August 31st. This place is definitely a must goto when visiting South Padre Island! ”

“ We went as a group on a Tuesday. The Band 3 was playing hits from the 70s in the afternoon. We had 1 Bush Lites special if the day. There are specials on food every day. Music every day of the week. Very large venue. Spacious and lots of seating available. Places to sit in shade as well. A pier to walk out onto and take good pictures. A great place to relax and kick back, and enjoy you day for Winter Texans. ”
